Responsibilities of the Candidate:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze testing requirements.
Ensure a comprehensive understanding of user stories and acceptance criteria.
Test Case Development and Execution:
Design, develop, and document effective test cases for manual and automated testing.
Execute test cases, report bugs, and track defect resolution.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
Automate web and API tests to improve efficiency and coverage.
Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and ensure robust application behaviour.
Debug issues effectively, working with developers to identify and resolve root causes.
Communicate testing progress, results, and challenges clearly to stakeholders.
Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline integration for automated tests using tools like Jenkins

Requirements:

Proficiency in automation testing tools, specifically Playwright and TypeScript.
Solid understanding of web and API testing methodologies.
Experience in requirement gathering, test case development, and exploratory testing.
Strong debugging skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
A strong quality-focused mindset with attention to detail.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.
Basic knowledge of Agile processes and test management tools.
